LOTTE Supertower Aquarium - Seoul, Korea
Oceanis has completed the concept design of this major new aquarium -
intended to be the best in Asia.
Ocean Park Grand Aquarium - Hong Kong
Oceanis has completed the design for this large aquarium as one of
the first phases of the HK$5.5 Billion redevelopment of the Ocean Park site.
AIMS - Townsville, Queensland
Oceanis has completed design of a new generation of coral growth facilities
and sea water infrastructure for the Institute of Marine Science.
"Wild Seas" Exhibit - Melbourne, Australia
Oceanis has completed the design and construction management of a number of aquaria and marine mammal
facilities associated with this new exhibit at Melbourne Zoo.
Bali Marine Park - Indonesia
Oceanis is currently designing new aquarium and marine mammal facilities for this world-class entertainment, leisure and education facility.
Nanjing Underwater World - China
An entertainment complex of 12,000 sq.m., Nanjing Underwater World
includes a major public aquarium, a games floor and food and beverage facilities within
a four level complex. Oceanis provided project management, design and procurement of all
specialty works.
Taronga Zoo Great Southern Ocean Precinct - Sydney, Australia
This 55 million dollar project has recently been successfully completed. The
precinct includes new facilities for leopard seals, fur seals, sea lions and penguins.
Caspian Sea World - Iran
Designs have been prepared for this large resort complex. Features
include marine mammal pools, nature park, aquaria, bird sanctuary, fountains and water
features, retail shops, food and beverage facilities and a hotel.
Parc Palais Aquatic Complex - Singapore
This is a unique arrangement of five boutique aquarium display tanks,
three of which are integrated within the complex’s central swimming pool and club
house. This provides an opportunity for residents to ‘swim with the fish’.
The remaining two aquarium displays are conventional ‘dry’ viewing on the
upper pool deck.
Sydney Aquarium - Australia
A series of small aquarium tanks, ranging in size from 2,000
to 10,000 litres have been designed and documented for the refurbishment program
of this facility.
Busselton Underwater Observatory - Western Australia
This unique facility, incorporating Cafe, Retail Shop and a 12 metre
deep Underwater Viewing Chamber, is located at the end of the longest jetty in the
southern hemisphere. The acrylic panels which are placed at various heights around
the submerged viewing chamber, allow underwater viewing of the local coral and marine life.
Beijing Pacific Aquarium - China
The entertainment facility, completed in 1998 is located within
the podium of the landmark structure of the radio and television tower of Beijing.
It contains numerous small aquatic displays, a large 3,000,000 litre aquarium with a walk
through acrylic tunnel, a chilled water penguin exhibit, simulator rides and food and
beverage facilities. Oceanis provided project management, specialty works design
and procurement services.
Changsha Underwater World - China
This project incorporates a 2350 sq.m. main aquarium display tank,
acrylic viewing panels, moving walkway and life support system. Ancillary services
included saltwater makeup / recovery, ozone disinfection, low pressure and diving air
systems.
Qing Huang Dao Underwater World - China
Located on the northern coast, Qing Huang Dao U.W.W. has been designed
with sufficient seawater storage to provide for makeup during the winter months when
the sea freezes over. The aquarium life support system incorporates large scale foam
fractionation, ozone disinfection and back wash recovery.
Castle Inn - Johor Bahru, Malaysia
To enhance the spacious atrium of this five star hotel, a boutique
aquarium was designed to be incorporated into the lobby atrium wall by the use of two
6 m x 4 m acrylic windows. The life support system has been designed as a “closed”
system with foam fractionators, ozone disinfection and backwash recovery.
Taronga Zoo Asian Precinct - Sydney, Australia
Oceanis have provided life support systems, underwater viewing
and mist system design for the many multi-species exhibits of this 40 million dollar
project.
Melbourne Aquarium - Melbourne, Australia
Oceanis staff designed this landmark aquarium.
Middle East, India, Asia & Australia
Oceanis have also completed or are working on a series of aquarium
and marine park projects in these areas that are subject to confidentiality agreements.
